Careers team launches virtual offer!
We’re really pleased to announce that our Careers team has launched a virtual offer for this term.
The Careers team is here to support all WQE students in their progression and career planning including help with university or apprenticeship applications, career guidance, work experience, developing employability skills and more.
For one-to-one advice and guidance the team is offering:
- Microsoft Teams (audio) appointments which are available throughout the day for students to book.
- If students have quick queries they can use Microsoft Teams chat to submit a question to the team and they will receive a response.
They are also working closely with universities and employer partners to deliver virtual presentations and workshops covering topics such as ‘How to Choose a University Course’ and ‘An Introduction to Degree and Higher Apprenticeships’.
Personal statement week at the end of September will start a programme of support for students in writing personal statements for UCAS. More information will follow.
If you have any questions or to discuss further please contact Kate O’Farrell, Careers Education Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org.
