Exciting careers events announced

We have taken the decision to postpone our upcoming March careers fairs as a precautionary measure. It was felt that asking contributors to make additional travel arrangements as well conducting large scale events was not sensible at the current time and we want to ensure our priority is to support the ongoing health needs of our community.

At this time, we cannot confirm a future date for these events however they are important to us and we will seek to reschedule them do in due course.

Creative Industries Event – Wednesday 18th March – Postponed

The UK’s creative industries are worth £101.5 billion to the UK economy. It is a massively growing sector particularly in Leicester and Leicestershire. This event is for students who are interested in a career or a degree course in the Creative Industries.

We’re really excited to welcome a range of universities. These include the Leeds University of the Arts and University of the Arts London, home to Central St Martins as well as universities who are coming to talk about their creative courses e.g. Birmingham City and Nottingham Trent University.

There will be workshops running in lessons throughout the day and a marketplace event from 4pm – 6.30pm so that students and parents can come and talk to universities directly.
