Our annual Prizegiving awards was held on Thursday 14 September at the Tigers stadium. An evening whiche celebrated our leavers and their remarkable achievements.
The night of celebrations included an address from Gwyneth Stallard OBE, performances from our music students and a number of prizes distributed.
One of our many prizes winners included Aamena Makda who received the Mattioli Woods prize for employability. She also received the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Student Executive. Since leaving college Aamena secured a project management apprenticeship.
As well as our students the college recognizes teachers who have gone beyond their role with the Innovation in Teaching and Learning award. The prize was presented to Matt Smith (economics) and Bryce Martin (biology).
Following the award ceremony, students, parents and guests were invited to an art exhibition and refreshments to continue the celebrations.
