Financial support

All students can apply to the 16-19 Bursary Fund for financial support. This means-tested fund is available to provide help with the extra costs incurred by deciding to stay in education.

The 16-19 Bursary Fund is made up of two parts – a discretionary fund, administered by the College to support eligible students who face genuine financial barriers to participation, providing help with costs such as transport, meals, college trips or equipment and a guaranteed payment to Vulnerable Young People.

The funds available can vary from year to year as it is dependent on the amount of Government funding the College receives and the number of students eligible for support.

Details of the financial support available for students in 2017/18 will be available here as soon as our funding allocation has been confirmed; this is likely to be mid-May.

The Student Services team are available to offer help, support and advice on finance and welfare issues so, for further advice or guidance please contact:
