Join our Board of Governors and help us transform young lives through learning.

WQE & Regent College Group has two campuses located close to the centre of Leicester. We are a thriving and vibrant Sixth Form College with over 3500 students. We are inviting applications from professionals with current or recent experience in finance, assurance and risk management to join our Board of Governors.

As a Governor we value your insight, experience and ideas to widen the perspective of our boardroom and we welcome applications from those who have held advisory or senior managerial positions within the financial sector, and who have accountancy or financial qualifications. Your own experience and sectoral insight would help lead the College through an exciting time in its development. Our colleagues and learners come from a broad and diverse demographic and we strive to mirror this in our Board of Governors.

The Board ensures the College meets its learners’ needs and continues to deliver the best possible outcomes and experiences for its students. The insight and knowledge of governors is essential in ensuring that the College continues to improve and that it uses all of its resources effectively, including its financial resources.

We are looking to appoint a Governor who is able to make informed decisions, who can demonstrate sound judgement and strategic oversight.
This voluntary role offers many personal and professional rewards and will provide you with a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience within an inspiring and aspiring organisation.
