The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.
In this context, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated and enthusiastic Student Performance and Data Manager, who will make a major contribution in helping us provide the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for our students as well as contributing to teaching at the College. A full-time member of staff teaches for 20 lessons per week and this role attracts remission of 5 lessons. The College is looking to appoint the best person for the role and due to the wide range of courses offered can accommodate the teaching specialism of the person appointed. Following our recent merger of WQE and Regent Road College, it is planned that that this post will operate across both our University Road and Regent Road buildings, located within a 12 minute walk / 5 minute drive of each other.
The successful candidate will work to provide efficient, responsive and flexible leadership of the arrangements for data analysis and use by teams across the College as well as acting as the Lead Internal Verifier for BTEC Programmes. You will be expected to be part of a culture that fosters continuous improvement. You will work with staff at all levels of the College to promote the effective use of data to support analysis of outcomes, to track student progress and gain feedback from students. You will also be key in giving advice and guidance over the arrangements for internal quality assurance of BTEC assessment. The Student Performance and Data Manager is also part of the leadership group of middle leaders who are responsible for making key college operational decisions.
In this context, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated and enthusiastic middle leader, who will champion the use of data to inform us in providing the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for our students.
This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 2021 or sooner if possible. The salary will be at a point on the Sixth Form Colleges pay spine which ranges from £24,098 – £39,329 plus a responsibility allowance starting at £4,945 and rising to £7,078.
